1. Introduction

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Rankmate ("we", "our", "us"), a link building and digital marketing agency registered at 158 Main Road, Biggin Hill, Kent, TN16 3BA, United Kingdom. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

We provide link building services including but not limited to link insertions (niche edits), guest posts, brand mentions, expert quote placements, and monthly link building packages. The specific details of each service are described on our website and confirmed at the time of order.

3. Orders and Payment

• All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to decline any order.
• Prices are as listed on our website at the time of order. All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
• Payment is required at the time of order unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Monthly packages are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time with 30 days' notice.

4. Delivery

• Typical delivery time is 2-4 weeks from order confirmation, depending on the service and quantity ordered.
• We will make reasonable efforts to meet estimated delivery times but these are not guaranteed.
• You will receive a full report for each placement including the live URL and site metrics.

5. Quality Guarantee

• All link placements are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of delivery. If a link is removed within this period, we will replace it free of charge with a placement of equal or greater quality.
• We offer a risk-free guarantee on first orders up to £250: if you are not satisfied with the quality, we will issue a full refund.
• Replacement or refund claims must be submitted within 30 days of discovering the issue.

6. Refund Policy

• First-time orders up to £250 are eligible for a full refund if you are not satisfied with the quality of placements delivered.
• For orders above £250, refunds are issued at our discretion and are typically limited to placements that do not meet the agreed specification.
• Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
• We do not offer refunds for changes in SEO strategy, business direction, or third-party algorithm updates.

7. Client Responsibilities

• You are responsible for providing accurate target URLs, anchor text, and any other information required for your order.
• You confirm that you have the right to request backlinks to the URLs you provide.
• You understand that link building is one component of SEO and that we cannot guarantee specific ranking positions or traffic levels.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to lost profits, lost rankings, or lost business opportunities.

9. Intellectual Property

Content created as part of our guest post and brand mention services is created on your behalf and for the purpose of link placement. Copyright in such content transfers to the publisher upon publication. We retain the right to reference completed work in our portfolio and case studies unless you request otherwise in writing.

10. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. We will not share your campaign details, website URLs, or business information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law. White-label clients receive additional confidentiality protections as agreed.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing service agreement with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, any work already completed or in progress will be delivered and invoiced. Pre-paid orders that have not yet been fulfilled may be eligible for a pro-rata refund at our discretion.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
